After clicking on a file in the Explorer view of OpenCms, a preview is opened to check the appearance. Files can consist of different editable content elements, either "unstructured" with free HTML editing capabilities or "structured" with predefined fields and data types.

By clicking on a "Direct Edit" button, each content element can easily be edited directly from the frontend preview. Additionally, new structured contents can be added and existing structured contents can be deleted by clicking the "New" or "Delete" buttons.

Toggling the visibility of the direct edit buttons is possible by pressing [Ctrl] + [Space].
