OpenCms offers several concepts to organize content independent from the hierarchically storage location. There are different types of galleries that are covering downloads, images, html, links and more.

Using different resource types and put them into galleries, using categorization / tagging or forcing mandantory meta data capture increases the data quality and makes content retrieval easier.
