Abstract

Providing internet services to a group of 15 public insurances, OEV has saved a remarkable amount of money for its customers by switching from licensed content management solution towards an open source platform in which OpenCms constitutes the central element.

Running an OpenCms-based solution for about two years now, we will demonstrate the high level of flexibility we have gained for designing new services, business applications and enhancements.

Our flexible and expandable functional and technical architecture based on OpenCms allows us to provide a rich and steadily growing end-user experience while keeping the cost of operation on a stable level.
