Andreas is a web professional who is working with web based applications since the early days of the commercial Internet in 1995.

Andreas started to work with OpenCms more than 8 years ago. Today he is a senior OpenCms developer and consultant at Alkacon Software. His responsibilities at Alkacon include enhancing the OpenCms core as well as special OpenCms consulting for large customers.

With his extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, one of his main focus areas is the further development of the OpenCms Workplace, including the OpenCms XML content editor, the OpenCms dialog system. Andreas has recently developed the jQuery based image resize and cropping dialog that is part of OpenCms 7.5.
