Implementing OpenCMS for eCommerce sites: South African Airways

Abstract

In his presentation, Daniel Rajkumar did describe the process undertaken to migrate a complex eCommerce site to OpenCms, using the example of South African Airways as a Case Study.

He did explain how a multi-market, multi domestic approach to ecommerce helps increase visitor confidence to drive up conversion rates, and in addition to best practice.

Daniel did divulge secrets and practical tools for your multilingual eMarketing strategy, including the use of Social Media, SEO, PR and local affiliate networks to drive traffic and revenues.

Daniel did also highlight some of the features of the new version 8 release and how they plan to implement and make use of these for their client.

    Apr 9, 2024 - OpenCms 17 gives content managers the new app "Date search" to find content that has been changed in a certain time range. The "Websites" app allows to easily export the content of a complete site for archiving. An option has been added to hide "sensitive" content in the Offline project.
