Alejandro is a co-founder of the first Spanish OpenCms Community, opencmshispano.com.  He is a very active member and has participated in many conferences and seminars evangelizing OpenCms as well as providing professional training services.

Always in a mood of promoting OpenCms to leverage the value of the website content management system solution, Alejandro helps webmasters and content managers worldwide to create and maintain websites fast and efficiently. All the while positioning OpenCms as a definitive and flexible tool for the purposes.

After working for more than 6 years with Java, J2EE and web applications and specially with OpenCms in all the roles from content manger to team leader in important projects for public administrations.  Alejandro now has one of the most ambitious projects in the OpenCms world: trying to make this tool accessible to all types of user.

  • OpenCms 17 available

    Apr 9, 2024 - OpenCms 17 gives content managers the new app "Date search" to find content that has been changed in a certain time range. The "Websites" app allows to easily export the content of a complete site for archiving. An option has been added to hide "sensitive" content in the Offline project. The default Mercury template has been further improved, e.g. with SEO optimized job postings, a "spacer" function and marker clusters for maps. OpenCms 17 has also been tested and certified using Java 17 LTS and 21 LTS.

The image is well suited for evaluation and test purposes of the latest OpenCms release. We provide a docker-compose file to get OpenCms and the database running with just one command.
