Please note: This beta version is considered feature complete! All important functionalities are in place. Some minor GUI improvements, as well as improvements to the demo template, will be made for the final release. In case you plan to upgrade to OpenCms 10.5 when it's released, we recommend to use this beta for testing your templates in the new version.
 

Who should use this OpenCms 10.5 Beta distribution download?

Use this download to try out the new version 10.5 Beta of OpenCms before the final release. OpenCms 10.5 Beta is fully backward compatible to all prior 9.x and 10.0 versions. Templates and other OpenCms developed code for these versions should work "out of the box" with version 10.5 beta.

Please note: The *.jar files in this binary distribution have been compiled for Java 7.

Download OpenCms

  • OpenCms 17 gives content managers the new app "Date search" to find content that has been changed in a certain time range. The "Websites" app allows to easily export the content of a complete site for archiving. An option has been added to hide "sensitive" content in the Offline project. The default Mercury template has been further improved, e.g. with SEO optimized job postings, a "spacer" function and marker clusters for maps. OpenCms 17 has also been tested and certified using Java 17 LTS and 21 LTS.
