The Cruise Handbook for Svalbard provides visitors to Svalbard with quality-assured information about the natural environment, history and cultural heritage sites along the coasts of the archipelago. The handbook is also rich in illustrations, with a lot of great pictures from Svalbard.

The Cruise Handbook for Svalbard site was originally published in Norwegian only, but was re-launched in 2009, this time running on OpenCms and with a complete English translation. Developed and hosted by the Norwegian Polar Institute.
