Alkacon Software - The OpenCms Experts

The next open source module in the Alkacon OpenCms Add-On Module Package (OAMP) series is now available.

The OAMP Comments Module, which is available now for download from alkacon.com, allows to add highly configurable blog like comment options to all template based pages in OpenCms.

This module is also used on this website, please see below for an example of how the Alkacon OAMP Comments module can be used.

The Alkacon OAMP Comments Module features:

  • Highly configurable comment form fields.
  • Comment moderation option.
  • Allows to create Guestbooks or simple discussion boards.
  • Comment administration in 'direct edit' style.
  • Configurable security levels allow to create 'open' comments or may require a login for 'closed group' comments.
  • Optional use of Captcha field for new entries.
  • Integrated frontend login form.
  • Html code generation based on AJAX technologies.

The module is available with full source code and documentation.

All Alkacon OAMP modules are released as full Open Source under the GNU GPL version 3. The source code of the modules is freely available in the public CVS of cvs.opencms.org.
