mobile.de has been using the popular Open Source Content Management System OpenCms for managing editorial content on its website for a considerable time. Alkacon Software, the developers of OpenCms, now support the editorial staff at mobile.de in realizing future requirements. The first project focused on accelerating editorial processes by installing an OpenCms cluster. The Alkacon OpenCms Enterprise Extensions (also called OCEE) are a commercial extension for OpenCms. Alkacon OCEE adds features to OpenCms that are often required for running OpenCms in a medium or large Enterprise, where data consistency, security and failover are highly important.
