Changing the XSD (XML Schema Definition) of an already existing structured content is much more easy than in older OpenCms versions. The XML structure will be automatically repaired if a file containing invalid nodes is opened in the XML content editor.

The tool "Repair XML contents" in the OpenCms Administration view can be used to repair all XML structures of a specific XML content type in the OpenCms virtual file system automatically in an instant.
This ensures that all XML contents of a changed type are valid again.
