Requirements and Terms

Please note: The OpenCms Solution Provider Program will be shut down December 31, 2015. Registration as a new “Solution Provider” is no longer possible since July 1, 2014.

Alternatively, you can apply for the Alkacon OpenCms Partner Program.

For reference purposes, these are the requirements and Terms for the old OpenCms Solution Provider Program:

By registering as an OpenCms Solution Provider, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not register as an OpenCms Solution Provider.

By registering as an OpenCms Solution Provider:

  1. You agree to place a prominent link to the OpenCms website (http://www.opencms.org) on your companies website. For some tips on how to do this, please see the Promoting and sponsoring page.
  2. You agree to add at least one valid entry to the list of OpenCms Reference sites.
  3. You agree not to use the names "Alkacon" and/or "OpenCms" to endorse or promote products offered by your company without prior written permission from Alkacon Software. For written permission, please contact us using the Alkacon contact form.

The list of registered OpenCms Solution Providers ("OpenCms Solution Provider list") is a service made available by Alkacon Software GmbH.

You acknowledge that Alkacon Software GmbH: (i) has discretion to determine whether to publish or not publish a registration on the OpenCms Solution Provider list; (ii) may modify content posted with the registration to the OpenCms Solution Provider list without notice; and (iii) can delete an entry in the OpenCms Solution Provider list at any time for any reason.

You agree to hold Alkacon Software harmless from, and you covenant not to sue Alkacon Software for, any claims based on using the website, the OpenCms solution provider list, or the software offered on this website, in particular all OpenCms related software, add-on modules or documentation, whether in contract (including fundamental breach), tort (including negligence) or otherwise.

German law governs any action relating to these Terms regard to any jurisdiction's choice law rules. You agree to submit all such disputes to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the city of Cologne, Germany. Alkacon's employees are not authorized to vary these Terms.

    Apr 25, 2023 - OpenCms 15 provides role-based control to restrict who is allowed to update the sitemap configuration, including an editor for modifying selected sitemap attributes by any content manager. The new launchpad app "Person data search" reveals personal user data stored in the VFS. The Mercury template adds more than 1800 optional icons from the Bootstrap collection and numerous further enhancements.

    Apr 25, 2023 - Alkacon OCEE 15 is the latest OCEE release for OpenCms 15. This version features a new scheduled job for LDAP synchronization and fixes a number of issues that have been detected in Alkacon OCEE 14.

    Oct 11, 2022 - This version features XML schema versioning with automatic content rewrite. Also new is support for two factor authentication (2FA) in the user login. A source code editor widget is available for multi-line text input fields. The Mercury template has been updated to use Bootstrap 5.2.
